Gator Bujutsu Club - Gainesville, FL

The Gator Bujutsu club is here to provide members of the University of Florida community opportunities to study classical Japanese sword arts. Our practices will include training in iai, kenjutsu kata, shinai kendo and tameshigiri. Our primary training style will be Sakurai-ha Kogen Itto-ryu, a style used by the Shinsen Gumi. We will also practice kyudo (archery), soyjutsu (spear) and other classical arts. No experience is necessary and all are welcome to participate.

SCHEDULE: Tuesday and Thursday from 7:30 PM-10 PM. Occasional Friday evening classes will be posted on the web site.

LOCATION: University of Florida Campus, Practice Gym, Stephen C. O'Connell Center 2nd Floor, off of Gates 3 and 4. (Campus map with O'Connell circled)
